From an early age, Greg sensed a call to ministry. He was licensed at the young age of 13 and began pursuing the call of God on his life.  Ordained shortly after graduating from Appalachian State University, the vision in his heart led to the beginning of Open Door Ministries in 1986.  Greg serves as the Senior Pastor of Open Door and his visionary leadership drives Open Door to pursue the calling of God for our church. Greg and his wife, Deana, have two children who serve with them in ministry.

Aaron serves as the Executive Pastor of Open Door Ministries overseeing all operations of the church and the Child Development Center. Ordained in 2011 by Evangel Fellowship International, his creativity and passion for next generation leaders drives the staff of Open Door to think outside the box in reaching people. He is the recognized successor to the ministry after his father, Greg Kennedy. Aaron and his wife, Lauren, have a son, Wesley.

Deana serves as the Life Groups Director and is the Co-Pastor of Open Door serving along side her husband, Greg Kennedy. Ordained by Evangel Fellowship International, her years of ministry experience and her heart for people enable her to creating an incredible Life Group ministry. Deana has served in many capacities at the church and her creativity and wisdom have helped shape Open Door into what it is today.  She and Greg have two children, Aaron and Miriam, who serve with them in ministry.

Michael serves as the Creative Director of all of Open Door Ministries overseeing Worship Environments, Media, Design, and Communication.  Michael is Licensed as a Minister through Open Door and adds his creativity and drive to develop environments that engage the churched and unchurched to help them make the next step in their walk with God. Michael is married to his wife, Kayla.

Miriam serves as the Worship Director of Open Door and oversees all of our Worship Leaders and musicians. Miriam was Licensed as a Minister through Open Door in 2011. Her passion for creating environments where people can experience worship leads to an incredible worship experience at Open Door. As the daughter of our Senior Pastor and Co-Pastor, she has served in many capacities at Open Door and brings a unique understanding of the vision of this ministry and a deep love for the Open Door family. She is married to her husband, Jared.

Teresa serves as the Service Team Director overseeing and coordinating all Service Teams across the church. With her desire to see people connected and made to feel welcome, she adds a unique passion to the Service Teams at Open Door.  Teresa has been a part of Open Door for years and her heart for this ministry is unmistakeable. Teresa and her husband, Jeff, have two daughters, Hope and Ashley.

Gina serves as our Family Ministries Director overseeing our Kids and Student Ministries Directors. Her leadership and wisdom in the community as a leader and as a mother made her an incredible addition to our staff. She brings experience and a passion for Students and Children as she leads our Family Ministries environments. Gina is married to her husband, Jimmy, and they have two sons.

Tyler serves as our Student Director overseeing our Middle School through High School Ministry: Four18.  As a Licensed Minister, licensed through Rhema Bible College, Tyler's passion and heart for raising up next generation leaders made him a natural fit as our Student Director. Tyler and his wife, Miranda, have a daughter, Ava.

Megan serves as our Children's Director overseeing our Baby K and Kidmo Programs.  Megan was Licensed as a Minister through Open Door in 2011. Her warm personality and her passion to see children experience Christ even at such a young age, help make our Children's programs incredible as we continue to invest in the next generation.

Josh manages all of the facilities on our campus including our Child Development Center. In addition to his responsibilities, his talent and leadership on our Worship teams helps us continue to raise up more and more musicians committed to leading people into worship of God. Josh is married to his wife, Jessica.
